Zone Manager is a powerful, fully featured Delivery Management system for the Facilites Management sector.

Commercial properties, especially in city centres often have limited access to delivery areas and loading bays. Increasingly strict controls are being place on the number and timings of deliveries that a site can have. In some central locations loading bays have to be located underground with ramp or even lift access, adding significant travel time between gate and dock. Frequently the goods lift within a building becomes the bootleneck and also needs to be managed. Allowing tenants to individually order supplies and have them delivered as and when they want is becoming increasingly untenable.

So-called consolidation centres are becoming necessary in order combine multiple small deliveries into larger efficient full loads, reducing the traffic and making best use of resources.

Zone Manager can be used as a delivery management system for commercial properites, retail centres or outlets, stadiums, hospitals and much more. 

It provides suppliers with information about approved access routes and available delivery slots and gives the building managers the information they need to rationalise and reduce. Gates, loading bays, docks and goods lifts can all be brought under a central control.

Zone Manager provides a central control structure for the site administrators giving them an overview of all activities. The web based interface for delivery bookings enables suppliers and tenants to request or book slots at any of the delivery docks and bays . Consolidation locations can be managed including milk-round traffic to and from the main locations.

Zone Manager allows delivery points and docks to be controlled centrally or separately by the individual building unit operators. Arrivals are booked in at any one of the security gates, updating the delivery status immediately.

Zone Manager is a portal which is available 24/7. As a self-service platform, contractors can access simply by signing in and whilst it's straightforward for contractors to do this themselves, it is also easy to oversee and control the contractor access and accounts from a central point.
What different levels of user access are there for the portal?
Different levels of access which can be set up in Zone Manager are:

• Administrator – system administrators who can do everything from configuration changes to managing bookings.
• Admin Viewer – read-only access to everything which is typically given to system overseers.
• Supervisor – day-to-day tasks such as managing bookings and setting up logins but can’t make configuration changes.
• Gate Operator - booking deliveries in and out of site.
• Contractor – make and manage their own bookings.

What format do the schedules come in?
Schedules are shown both on an interactive diary and on booking lists.
